Froch-Abraham starting time AKA SPOILER THREAD

Yeah please. I only picked this fight on Tam´s site to my knowledge, and there I picked Froch by close decision. Besides you are one to talk, when you called Froch a bum for years. :giggle:

 

Froch is the 168 Vitali, with more talk. The stoppage is there...take it. You need all the points you can get after they gave 1000 to Ward for the withdrawal of Dirrell.

 

Why Froch wins he gets Johnson, regardless of the way.

great performance by Froch, horrible one by Abraham. I won't be as quick as most of you at dismissing Abraham from this performance, his power had no effect on Froch and he was puzzled by his ankward style. big Froch fan here, so glad to see he'll finally get his props, but was disappointed in Abraham.

 

The 12th is what I envisioned the fight generally to look like. I was wrong.

Otherwise, he’s looking at a scenario where a loss drops him down to the #4 seed, where he would face #1 seed Ward, while #2 seed Froch would square off against #3 seed Johnson."

Yup....I expected Froch to dominate early like he did but what happened by the 12th to happen in about the 5th, 6th, 7th. Abraham's was far too passive.

 

basically abraham was scared of frochs strengh. simple.

Nah. He's just a middlweight who lacks variety. That's all. No need to make it out to be more or less than that. And Froch is just a bigger guy whose variety and work rate and over all toughness were the perfect foil for a guy who lacked the work-rate to take advantage of his glaring defensive flaws.

 

Nice by Froch, he was too big, awkward and could match Abraham for strength...Carl deserves the plaudits, but Abe does not belong at 168, although he probably cant make 160 now

Yup. The size difference was quite pronounced, Froch seemed able to bully Abraham's physically like I didn't anticipate.
