Oh we have same good commentators.

Kastor works for Eurosport, knows his stuff, but doesn´t really bother to follow the developments of the sport religiously, since he only gets to call shit fighters anyway and he knows it.

"Show me the ringcard girls come on now, the guy can´t fight, who cares what his corner has to say."

Drews is very good. He does the Klitschkos fights and other big american fights here and there, if they are shown every six months. He kisses too much ass to keep the few jobs he gets.

Preuss is the best, but has no ties to the TV stations, so he takes what he can get occasionally.

The TV stations, that have contracts with promoters rather use their own employees.

Germany also doesn´t use any experts as a 2nd commentator, although Sturm did a surprisingly good and honest job recently on Stieglitz/Ornelas.
In between he even went to the ring and coached Stieglitz. That was pretty cool from him.

How can anyone paint Khan as a robot yet then praise the "subtletys" of Abrahams style?

froch's ugly to watch at times, but he's very difficult to beat it seems like. his resume is pretty impressive if you look at who he's fought and beaten in the last 3 years.

my thought is Abraham sucks. also, i'd like to see him against Kessler. I'd like to see Kessler put some hurt on him.

Ironically, he probably has a far higher chance against Kessler, who simply lacks the barge-pole difficulty of Froch. Kessler had enough variety to tweak Frochs nose. The Super 6 is highlighting very well something I have often believed in: the importance of variety and style when skills are lacking.

You can't just let a guy like Froch tee off. Kessler made sure he mixed it up ad nauseum...even when he was hurt, he made sure to keep punching. That was the mistake Abraham made. Abraham expends so much energy in flexing his upper body and keeping his hands up {try keeping your hands up} that he would have been as well off punching himself out with, well, punches. He got tired anyways.

AA did a great job of following the Joshua Clottey gameplan.

Yeah but when you punch 10 times a fight......

....trust me...keeping your hands up and flexing like a tree in a storm is bad for your energy.

“But right now I’m going to spend quality time with my family and loved ones over Christmas. I’m looking forward to eating a mince pie or two and maybe even a small glass of red wine. But most of all, me and Rachael celebrating our beautiful son Rocco’s first Christmas.

“I wish you all a fantastic festive holiday and a happy New Year. See you in the January sales!â€￾
