Yet the fact is if you put Pac and Mayweather side by side, Mayweather is the much bigger man.

Totally. He is a bigger man, without question. And Pacquaio's has covered more weight, although Floyd has fought slightly higher in weight.

Maybe, but based on what? His arguably three straight losses? His win over Mayorga? And even if it was true, the fact that Marg came in at 165 against Pac, who shouldnt even be above 135 IMO and got raped is very impressive. And add to the fact that DLH gave Mayweather all he could handle after those loses, while Pac hasnt arguably lost a round since his fight with marquez isnt even comparable. Objectivity can be injected when there is objectivity available. IN this case, there is no comparison.

Considering where they both started, and Mayweather has only fought slightly higher also proves in favor of pac.

    mayorga was a punching bag.

Oscar was a part-time fighter by the time he fought Floyd and Pac.

The only fighter that Pac can be accused of pointlessly fighting, that Floyd fought when he was more relevant etc is Mosley.

This fight is pointless, Pacquiao shouldn't be fighting him.

In that sense they are 1 and 1.

Floyd pointlessly dragged the 36 year old Marquez up from lightweight, and now Pacquiao is fighting the almost 40 year old Mosley after he has lost to Floyd.

But at least Mosley is bigger than Pacquiao, not 2 weight divisions smaller.

if pac fights mosley, then perhaps floyd should fight margarito at 147.

Floyd shouldn't be fighting anybody other than Manny Pacquaio. PERIOD.

Or Davidt Diaz after Marquez flew to Manilla to call him out.

    What?

That fight wasn't pointless at all. Certainly no more pointless than the Baldomir fight for Floyd.

It was a chance to move up in weight and pick up the WBC lightweight title.

Diaz was the weakest guy with a belt at 135, he got a gift over Morales who won 1 fight out of 5.

Baldomir was the legit undisputed champ, there not comparable at all, that is of course if you don't blow Manny and hate Floyd.

Keep telling yourself that fight was more meaningful than a Marquez trilogy.

What is he supposed to do, fight Marquez every single fight for the remainder of his career if Marquez calls him out?

Hahaha at the Baldomir fight being more important than Diaz.

They are the same thing. Both fighters suck, and are glorified journeymen. Both fights were the opportunity to pick a belt and nothing more.

Diaz might have been the weakest belt holder at 135, but Baldomir was the weakest top fighter at 147, without a doubt.

What people forget is that Zab was undisputed when Baldomir beat him. Then they forget that Floyd beat them both.

Not at all. They are a similar level of fighter, are you disputing that? You think Baldomir is that much better than Diaz?

    So what?

He won a decision over an unmotivated, always inconsistent Zab Judah. Everyone knew he sucked even after that win. It was simply an easy chance for Floyd to pick up those titles.

Yeah and the TOP welterweights at the time...guys like Margarito, Williams, Clottey, and Cotto would beat the living shit out of Bumdomir and Judah...lucky for Mayweather he got to those two easy marks first...

Anyone really think Judah or Bumdomir would beat Cotto or Margarito?

Margarito w/o plaster is an even fight.

No argument there. The solis and larios were pointless, stay busy fights.

They are the only 2 though. As opposed to you know, half of Floyd's fights since Castillo.
