So you have word from Brookins or sources close to him? Otherwise you sound like a stupid kid again.

And yes, everyone hear knows Brookins lost to Aldo. And yes, no one hear thinks Brookins is beating Aldo anytime.

But if Brookins fought Frankie Edgar tomorrow I don't think its that cut and dry. Of couse Edgar would be the betting favorite, but I don't think he would steam roll Brookins in any way shape or form.

Why would an elite fighter even be on this show?

:bears: We are so sorry TLC that the The Ultimate Fighter Season 12 has not lived up to your realistic yet unfullfilled expectation of a showcase tournament for the Elite of MMA.

    Elite fighters from TUF.

    Rashad Evans
    Kenny Florian
    Josh Koscheck
    Gray Maynard
    Ryan Bader
    Manny Gamburyan

    Budding/Possible elites

    CB Dalloway
    Gerald Harris
George Sotiropolous(argument could be made he already is)
    Nate Diaz

Oh right, what an odd and unreasonable expectation.

I don't think you understood what I was saying.

The point is I doubt any of these guys even makes it past mid-level status...

Based on your definition of "elite", your complaints are groundless.

What about CB Dollaway are you so excited about? He lost TUF to Amir Sadollah. He then fought Mike Massenzio, Jay Silva, Joe Doerksen, Tom Lawlor and most recently Goran Reljic. All wins - impressive. But its not exactly much of a proving ground, now is it? The only name worth mentioning in that win-streak is Reljic and thats only due to his inability to live up to the hype and will soon be cut from the org.

Just because Manny had a title fight, dont assume he's elite. Elite fighters wear gold straps and defend them successfully. Period. Great fighters are #1 contenders. Everything else is just that .....everything else......trying to become great by taking out the next guy. CB is cut from the latter cloth.

Holy shit.....Manny Gamburyan is an elite fighter and Fedor is a fraud. TLC's logic is absolutely flawless.

    Idiot.

Nate Diaz? He's nowhere near as good as his brother. He's 3 and 3 in his previous 6 fights.

Dollaway? The power nerd is not even close to being elite. Got clowned by Sadollah twice, and by that Tom guy.

Gamburyan? Hahaha. Again, the guy is 3 and 3 in his previous 6 fights. He's a stubby little journeyman.

Bader is borderline elite. He can fight, but he's just another wrestler. Let's see him beat a prime, world class MMA fighter before calling him elite.

Brookins with some more experience is potentially better than most of that list.

By the way, I've seen you call people out on their spelling.

Learn to spell Dollaway. Does it SOUND like Dalloway? No it fucking doesn't, you retard.

It's a proper name, couldn't give two shits how it is spelt.

Most MMA publications consider elite fighters the top 5 fighters at their weight.
All of those guys are, or the budding elites I believe have the potential to do so.

Nick is not much better than Nate, if at all.

none of those guys looked like elite fighters while on the show. Kenny Florian looked like a bum. They all improved and raised their game after the show. So shut the fuck up.

Kenny was fighting 30lbs over his fighting weight you dumbfuck.

    Rashad was beating fucking 265lbers.

The only fighters on the show to make dramatic improvements is George Sotiropolous and Nate Diaz to an extent.

I got Brookins by RNC round 1 in the finals.

Anyone else get a laugh out of Koschek getting punked by his own team? He has made a total fool out of himself this whole show. From fighting with the medic, to getting schooled in the fighter selection process, etc. etc.

Wow, I can't believe TLC is picking Johnson. It seems like Brookins is the real deal.

I think Nam, Johnson and Brookins are all UFC worthy fighters. I actually would have given the nod to Nam against Johnson last night but it was a close fight.

This season has made me do a complete 180 in terms of who I want to win the Kos-GSP fight. I literally hope GSP wins every second of a long, brutal 25 minute fight. GSP was the ideal coach. He had a great team of coaches and brought in great guest coaches. And you can just tell the guy is a legitimately cool dude. He has zero of the arrogance you'd expect from a P4P fighter.
