One of the most entertaining press conferences i've seen :: Alexander winding up Bradley as much as he could. Bradley looking ready for business now. I got Bradley to win this. Bring on Jan 29.
I don't see why the fight would be boring? Neither are uber exciting or huge punchers, but neither fight like faggots either. They both have a decent workrate and can be somewhat aggressive too. I think it'll be a decent match actually, with Bradley winning around 8 rounds to 4. I quite like both these guys, they look and sound kind of old school.
agREED... Both R Primarily POCKET Fighters w/High Workrates...Even if there ISN'T a Stoppage or a Knockdown, there's Gonna B ALOT of Contact & Exchanges... REED Isn't Quite Sure WHO Will Win, just Yet... REED:kidcool:
:mj: Loved how Bradley was calmly thanking everybody, can't wait for the fight, Team Alexander for stepping up to the challenge, etc..etc...THEN "cause in the past they been talking a lot of SHIT"...:shadow:
REED Looooved how Bradley Said, "Put Some BASS in your Voice, Son!", in Response to Alexander's High Pitched Vocal Tone... REED:hammert:
maybe this could be like the jr. welterweight version of harry simon/winky wright, which i thought was an excellent fight. a slick swarmer vs. a lanky jabber w/ good workrate
you can tell Bradley is pissed while Alexander and his team seems over confident. Or at least he tries to appear that way. should be fun! :shadow:
Yep, I think so too. Why do you think people are acting like it's going to be a boring fight? People have got too used to being negative nancies about boxing, and almost do it as a matter of course now. Maybe I'm underrating Alexander, but I expect Bradley to win fairly clearly, with it being a decent, competitive fight.
Ive gone back and forth on this matchup MANY times, but when its all said and done I'm gonna end up on picking Tim. Both have comparable talent and skills, but I have a feeling that Bradley is gonna WANT it more, which will end up being the differance.
Well generally speaking, these two cats bore me and I don't feel either guy's style is conducive to making exciting match ups. Out of their last 8 or 9 combined fights, the only fight I remember actually enjoying is Bradley-Peterson. Bradley has a tendency to make fights ugly by clinching and repeatedly leading with his head. While Alexander throws a shit load of punches that land on forearms and elbows, all the while grunting like Serena fucking Williams.
People R Focusing Tooooooo Much on the PUTRID KO %'s of Bradley & Alexander, as Opposed to HOW Each Guy Actually Fights... REED:kidcool:
Yeah the fight should have some good action, despite the seeming non-threat of a one punch KO. A late stoppage wouldn't surprise me either way though.
Funny thing is neither are feather fisted. Bradley can't punch no, but he has enough power to get your attention, and is sharp and accurate. Not a puncher, but not the kind of guy you can just walk through either. As for Devon, I think he has pretty underrated power. I won't be surprised if he hurts Bradley. His KO percentage is only like 60%, but I think he has become more powerful, or more aggressive, one or the other. For example 5 of his first 8 win were decisions, but since then 10 out of his most recent 13 wins are KO's, which is obviously a far more respectable KO percentage. Plus, sparking Urango with 1 punch is impressive.
