Speaking of Ariza, we almost had a walk-out bout between him and Miguel Diaz, the veteran cutman who trained Maidana. Ariza explained that after the fight, Diaz approached him and proceeded to call him a “fraud†and a “cheat,†which Ariza took umbrage to. I dont know what to think anymore. The problem is there is so much MONEY involved that even if PAC is using PEDs, the truth wont be told. There is too much money involved. This is the sad truth of it all. Money talks.
There is no explanation for the fact that Pacquiao was battered around the ring by 130 lb Erik Morales 9and unable to dent his chin with his BEST shots) and 126 lb Marquez at one point THEN fast forward three years later, and he's walking through Margarito, Cotto, De la Hoya, and others and knocking full blown welters down with one shot. It just doesnt make sense at all. Not to mention his appearance has drastically changed.
I'm not saying he's used PEDs or not, but the case you've made is not a good one. First of all, when Pacquiao faced Morales and Marquez, he was the same size as them - it's not as if he were the same guy physically that he is today. Second of all, he was not battered around the ring by either Marquez or Morales. He lost just one of those fights, and won two of them by knock-out. Thirdly, he did not walk through Cotto, ODH or Margarito. Rather, he used his speed advantage (an advantage that was much less at 126 and at 139 by the way) to control the pace of those fights, and to land at a rate none of those fighters had ever been hit at. Fourth, you're not accounting at all for the improvement Pacquiao's made in his boxing. Having more than one punch, I'm sure you can imagine, is going to make any fighter more formidable in the ring. And finally, don't you think it stands to reason that gaining 20 pounds would change any fighter's appearance?
However, Diaz is a respectful and reserved guy. it's very strange to see him do that, he must have his reasons and I would love to hear what he have to say about the incident.
if there's such PED that's somehow masked in urine samples and improves your chin, skills, stamina, speed, and power, i'm sure this earth shattering revelation would be all over the fucking news.
Ron, if there is some super-PED that makes Superman from an "ordinary" fighter, why only Manny is using it? How can it be that nobody else wants to be invincible if it's as simple as taking some from the super-PED?
I read somewhere that Diaz and Ariza go back like 10 years ago. I think they work the Corrales corner against Mayweather. Ariza said at that time Diaz had a shitty game plan on how to beat Floyd. He said that this past weekend he had the same game plan for Maidana to beat Khan, :dunno:
