nice. the action doesn't stop. man was october and november torture. it was a dark time in our history.
Also dont forget that on Showtime Rios-Soto is being discussed for Feb. Thats basically a fight thats GUARANTEED to be a war.
I'm pretty sure that got cancelled since Soto will not be ready by then following his tough fight last week. Instead, Rios is gonna fight some other guy but I forget his name. Soto, they're saying, may have a rematch with the guy he fought last week, whose name I also don't recall. Glad to be of help. ::
In a perfect world Rios vs Soto comes off sometime this year, and put Antillion vs Katsidis on the undercard.
if jones doesn't blow his nuts early like he did last month, he has a chance of winning decisively in february.
i wasn't impressed at all with jones. i thought he was much better than he is. his balance is terrible, his coordination no good, and his power doesn't seem all that great either. or his technique. overall, i'm wondering why this guy's on TV.
Its possible Jones is just hypejob. But I'm not ready to give up on him just YET! He made a retarded tactical error in the first Karass fight, we'll see how he performs in the rematch. I made the mistake of thinking he was almost ready for Berto, but clearly he's NOT. I'm not even all that high on Berto, but he'd fuck up Jones at this point.
i would also pick berto, but i wonder if berto could've survived that 2nd round onslaught jones dished out on soto-karrass
Saul Alvarez-Matthew Hatton/Vyacheslav Senchenko could be on one of those open dates. http://espn.go.com/sports/boxing/blog/_/name/rafael_dan/id/5909520/new-gloves-amir-khan
Lem Satterfield writes Sergio Martinez-Sebastian Zbik is "likely" for March 12 according to Sampson Lewkowicz. Satterfield also wrote: http://www.boxingscene.com/?m=show&opt=printable&id=33829
LOL. Boxingtalk says Cotto's fight is going to be "in Puerto Rico". If it is, I guess that could mean a split-venue HBO broadcast...or Cotto's fight will be televised somewhere else.
Seems Maidana wanting to stay at 140 is all that's keeping Andre Berto from fighting another junior welterweight. http://sports.espn.go.com/sports/boxing/columns/story?columnist=rafael_dan&id=5925497
Yeah, I can see how they would have no room for the Klitschkos alright. All those midget fights and TBA's to be accommodated.....
He's available... but HBO/Haymon aren't interested in his getting any airtime. Jacobs claims he wants a rematch, but I'll believe that when I see it.
