Nice matchup. I like the UFC picking up Kid, it really opens up alot of fun matchups at 135.

 

That was an awesome move and one of the coolest things i've ever seen in a fight. When Faber tried to do his bounce of the cage and land the reverse elbow on Brown, that's arguably going to be luck if it works, but Pettis' move was intentional the whole way and he was in position after he landed the kick. That's not luck.

 

Why do you think cage fighting fans are so soft and defensive, Godfather?

 

What D? His striking D? His takedown D? His submission D?

Yet he's always lurking in the MMA forum. Funny.

 

He tries to stay away but anytime something interesting happens in MMA he has to come here to try and diminish it.

Fans were buzzing about a great WEC finale and like clockwork, SD shows up with negative comments.

To me it has become more amusing than annoying. The regular MMA posters now have a good idea of SD's stance (He doesn't like or watch MMA yet always seems to casually catch every event).

Sorry man, I can't help it. If this community of douche bags and their baby blue forum stopped giving me ammo, I'd leave. The thing is, guys like my boy Trplsec enjoy going back and forth with me. If he didn't, he wouldn't reply to every single one of my posts.

How many people are only banned from the boxing forum? No one. That's because we aren't uppity over there. Come over and be yourself. You'll get ripped on, but be a man and it's no big deal.

This isn't a cage fighting site. It's a boxing site, and the sports (both Saturday night Pay Per View fighting sports) are in direct competition. So know your surroundings and expect the odd boxing fan to come in and tell it like it is.

I actually agree with Steve on this. I know he doesn't dig MMA and likes to shit on it. But I don't want him gone. The difference in opinions keeps it interesting. I post in the boxing forum every once in a while, I don't think I ever see someone asking for someone to be banned. Personally, I think Steve usually hangs himself beings his comments never have consistency so its like Trplsec said, comical. Or did he say ammusing? One of the two anyway. Its all good, Steve. So lets say I went to General Discussion and was bashing boxing, do you really think I'd be banned? I just think the guys over there would hand me my ass and that would take care of it.

I guess I just don't dig the banning thing. We are all grown ups, if you want to talk shit, back it up and don't get hurt when people hand you your ass EVEN if it gets personal.

Well, I am with Jarhead, I am 100% against bannings. Guys that are idiots and trolls normally get handled and people know how to view them. SD is a perfect example. He comes in here to illicit response and get attention. We all know that now. No big deal.

What is funny is him calling MMA fans defensive and whiny when he is the one that comes into the MMA forum stomping his feet like a 5 year old saying "This is a boxing site not an MMA site!!!!!!"

That made my day. Next SD will threaten to take his ball and go home.
