Double L is right. Floyd is an idiot. He's not this big celebrity he thinks he is. Most people I know would not know who he is even if you told them his name.

Imagine if Floyd said "What the fuck let me in my house! I'm Floyd Mayweather Jr. I'm a boxer! " and Security guard replied with I'm sorry sir I don't follow boxing I only know famous boxers like Manny Pacquiao....

I would pay to see that shit! lol

Fuck Floyd. It's no reason to act like an asshole. The doorman wasn't even denying entrance. It looked like he just asked Floyd to wait a couple minutes so he could check out the plate#.

There are literally hundreds of homes in this community. Even if the guard did know Floyd............fuck him right up the ass!!

Here's a map of where Floyd lives.

Simple reason for the confusion. The guard was white and all black people look alike to some white people. I mean if this guy just went ahead and let everyone who he thinks looks like Floyd come through the front gate he really would be out of a job.

There's some whiners in here. It's a gated community. If the guy lets someone in without ID and they or one of their friends does something they shouldn't, the security guard gets fired. As it was, the dickhead driving the car sped off like a moron. What if someone complains about that?

The guard has a job to do. He was doing it.

Floyd has an entourage? He can't even come up with his own ID? WTF? You guys support this idiot? I guess anybody should be allowed to walk up to a gated community and go in without ID because they piss their pants having a shit fit?

You preface this by assuming the guy is a boxing fan. To some people, boxing is as relevant as Australian Rules Football in the States.

Usually, in gated communities, you get a remote control to just open the gate and enter. I would hate to have to see the guard's ugly mug and talk to him every time I get home.

Come on...you guys are making me defend Floyd here. I'm sure there are other celebrities who live in the development. The guards should know who they are.

more importantly, based on the pending legal case with another security guard at the guard house, one would think all guards working the post would be put on notice.

if he wasn't intentionally being a dick, then that guy must have been new and perhaps is a foreigner who's somewhat new to the states. still, a poor job by management letting some dumbass/newbie like that work there where all the affluent folks reside.

Lets say he is new. What is wrong with that ? You expect him to remember the face of every person who lives there? I'm sure the guy wasn't being a dick on purpose since it could have cost him his job! Floyd is not freaking Obama not everybody knows who he is...

well, i would assume that they're supposed to be trained on familiarizing w/ who lives there and shit. i don't know what the protocols are in such places. but within my own experience dealing w/ security guards in some places, they swear they think they are some sort of authority figures and act like deedee from 'friday after next'. can't say i feel sorry for the guy getting yelled at.

w/ recent events, i can see why mayweather was so pissed. of course, the logical thing for him to do was to file a complaint to that guard's management.

So Floyd forgot his license AND his remote control for the gate.

Floyd can stay out with his homies until 4 in the morning but can't be bothered to wait around for a 2 minute license plate check on his Miss Johnson vehicle.

    Fuck him in the ass.

So being affluent gives one the right to be a fucking asshole to some poor schmuck making 10 bucks an hour.

I'm beginning to think the other security guard who filed the lawsuit may actually have a case. If this is how Floyd acts on the regular, no wonder he's in so much legal trouble lately.

Treat other people like shit, you get treated like shit right back. :shit:

Listen funny thing is I recently while visiting my gf's condo was stopped and asked where I was going who I was going to see and etc by the security guard. It REALLY pissed me off so in the momement I wanted to punch the fag in the face but in hindsight that's their job to protect people who live there so I get it now. Floyd's problem is he thinks he's WAAAAAAY bigger than he actually is and gets offended when people don't recognize him. I bet in his head he thinks he is Elvis Presley and Obama rolled into one. Reality is he is not and that's what hurts him the most.

at the very least, he should be well known within his residential community.

not sure why you think this is about him being famous or not. he obviously is if there are message boarders like you and double l talking shit about him on a daily basis.

Why should he be well known? Did you see the size of that place? Im sure that are more important people with more important things to think about or even know than Money Mayweather who stays out at 4:00 a.m.

Tell me this if you put Floyd at a random shopping mall. Just by himself without a posse without wearing big diamond chains and shit just him wearing casual clothing and the mall had 1000 people there at the time how many do you think would recognize him ?

This "community" has it's own 190,000 square foot shopping center. It's set up like a damn military base for rich people.

Least Floyd could do is show his fucking ID or have the patience for someone to look it up for him.

He's acting like a fucking baby. When have we become ok with this behavior?

If you're on Floyd's side in this, that means you would have thrown the same damn temper tantrum in the same situation.

If not, why would you excuse this. :scratcher:

    I would agree with this.

I think most of us are confusing a regular gated community with one as like this where Floyd lives. These people aren't wealthy, they are rich. They don't get a gate remote, there isn't a little code to punch in. They all have to come up to the gate and speak with the Guard. This was obviously a strange vehicle to the guard. He had every right to check it out. He is being paid very well by a property management company who is under contract with all the home owners, not just Floyd.

i'm not sure. like godfather said, it depends on the mall.

at the same time, if harry reid walked around a mall outside of nevada, i'm sure not too many would recognize him either.

Floyd did nothing wrong here. Why the fuck would the security guard not let him in his own house?

This security guard really did deserve a slap.

I guess you did not read the replies here ? They guard a whole community of rich bastards. It's like a little city for rich people within the actual city...

Oh, I misunderstood. I don't really know what a "gated community" is. I didn't realise there were other houses there, I thought it was literally just Flid's house being protected by the guard.

Which would obviously be beyond absurd, if Floyd's own private guard didn't let him in his own house.

But yeah, I guess in this situation, where it's a portal of other houses etc, you're going to need ID, so Floyd was being a bit of a twat.

However, in Floyd's defense, are you telling me that guard didn't know how Floyd was? He's one of the most famous boxers in the world, and he lives in that community. I'm sure that guard knew exactly who he is.
