Definitely worth the bet.

Always the possibility, with Shane's size strength and body punches and Manny's relatively vulnerable midsection, of a Mosley stoppage.

Shane wont get a KO via the head though, not IMO.

 

I wouldn't rule out the head KO - Manny is hittable and Shane bangs. I don't think it'll happen, but 15-1 odds allow a great straddle at minimum expense. Add that to the odds other bookies are giving on Manny and there's profit any way it goes down unless Shane pulls out a decision win. Which isn't happening.:egypt:

I have to admit, I thought Freddie was joking at first when he mentioned that. I mean, that's pretty damn nervy to make that demand, even if it was only just to see how far they could bully Mosley at the negotiating table.

I actually made an embarrassing arse piece of that, from skim reading. Apologies. It's 10-1 on Shane by KO, 15-1 is Shane by decision. The best odds Im getting on Manny outright are 1/6 on, nowhere near evens, as you'd expect.

The way I'll probably play this is to make Pac on points my main play at 7/4 from Stan James. 40 quid on that to make 49 after straddles. Stick 15 quid on Pac by stoppage in the 2nd half of the fight, 15/4 at skybet to come out a tenner up if that happens. 6 quid on Shane at 10-1 to come out a fiver up if Shane lands the bingo punch.

If Manny wins by KO in the first 6 or Shane gets decision Im fucked. Don't see either outcome happening. Can check all this at oddschecker, btw.

Be careful with the points and KO on Pac to get more than the 1/6 on outright win. The Points thing is full distance. So a TD and you're fucked. I know unlikely but it happened to me and i was suddenly having 800 Euros less, so I earned my lesson with those... ::
