It just dropped here in Japan and I saw it in the theater and thought it was a masterpiece. I was truly surprised with the quality of this film as great movies are so rare these days. This felt old school and they did it right. I Loved the suspense, score and slow build up and pacing. The missus hated it though and was completely bored. I loved it and by the time the final scene was playing out I felt a desire to stand and applaud. I didn’t of course but I loved the movie and the only negative I can think is it may not work as well as a rewatchable film but that first viewing? 9/10.

By the way saying this wasn’t as good as War Horse is ridiculous. War Horse was trash, this was great.
