    Bernie comedy based on a true story. Better than I expected. Jack Black did a great job as Bernie, the funeral home owner,devoted christian,activist and all around lovable good fella who meets the devil's spawn in the person of the grungy hateful widow (Shirley Maclaine). Who will push more the buttons to the other? Mathew McConaughey does a very comic redneck prosecutor. Nice little film. 8/10
