    I wonder if anyone has any info on whether A) heavier gloves and B) reducing fights to 12 rounds really has contributed to the safety of fighters. Just genuinely curious.

    Bigger gloves = less KOs = more punches landed = brain shaking around the skull more = more dangerous.

    That would be my first thought too, but as I said I'm curious if there is any science or evidence coming down either way.
