It's OKAY...I would have like it a whole lot more if that fucking annoying twat TJ Miller were not in it....good concept...thank god for the sequel that should be coming out soon.....opcorn:
the dialogue was as simlpe and stupid as they come, but i thought the movie definitely had some good things to it. the imagination of the monster was good - the big thing itself, and the little bugs it carried with it - well-done.
I like the movie.....just this annoying twat.....throughout the fucking movie....annoying...annoying fucking voice...
What's funnier is the pussy motherf*cker who risks his life in order to go check on his ex-bitch whom had already broken up with him. ::
It is a good movie, but I wish it was filmed in a traditional way instead of in a camcorder-home made documentary style. By the end I had a splitting headache.:goingmad:
yeh and the camera guy is annoying as fuck with his commentary it sucks it's a shame because the monster was pretty cool..but the movie was ruined
People that get Headaches that watch camera movies are watching the movie wrong IMO. You are straining trying to watch something that is blurry and out of focus. Stop struggling. You are suppose to see that. The parts that are clear is what you are suppose to see. When the camera is shaking due to running or something, just relax. Dont strain. You arent missing something. The important parts will be in focus and clear.
The jerking of the camera is lame. I hate that style of filming. They try to make it much more dramatic than it really is. I hated the fight scene between Bale and Neeson in Batman Begins because of the violent and rapid camera jerking. Just leave the f*cking camera in one spot so we can see these guys clearly instead of trying to cover up their flaws as actors.
I will never watch this movie. Like wise, when I started watching Chronicle and realized it too was a camcorder style film, I shut it off.
I thought Cloverfield was great. Odette Yustman (now with a different last name) is off the charts pretty and even if the movie had sucked, it would be worth seeing with her in it. However, it was solid throughout and it's over way too soon to get bored with it.
