What's up with him?

He hasn't fought since may 2012! I thought he was an interesting up and coming contender but he disappeared!

But anyway, apparently he injured his back while training to fight Golovkin, and then just went back to chess ala Lennox Lewis

 

His KO of Jacobs is still one of my faves of recent years

Unless I'm remembering badly, Pirog basically hunted him and down and beat him up in every round, and obviously ended up stopping him. I remember it being 1 sided.

 

Why does Pirog has to try to fight like a slick afro-american? He looks robotic doing so.
