FINAL predictions!!

It's officially fight week fellas! The time for sitting on the fence is over. What's everyone's final picks for the two big fights on Sat? Also, which underdog has the better chance of pulling an upset. Canelo or Garcia? I'm picking the favorites in both matchups. Lucas will blast Garcia in the mid-to-late rounds, and Floyd will outbox Canelo to a clear decision win. Believe it or not though, I see Canelo having a better chance of pulling an upset than Garcia. For the life of me I simply can't see Danny getting by Matthysse. Whereas Canelo has a legit chance if Father Time decides to kick in on Sat.

 

I shall make my predictions when Jimmy calls for them in the Predictions League thread:aye:

I'm gonna pick Alvarez. If Floyd wins nobody will remember my pick and if Alvarez wins I'll brag about my my predictions skills for YEARS!

I'd say Canelo has a 30-35% chance of winning, his size and youth make him more dangerous than anyone Floyd's fought recently, if Floyd hurts his hands early things could get real interesting.

I'd be very surprised if Floyd lost, he's just so complete as a boxer. Out of everybody currently available Canelo is definitely near the top of the pile though, so he might cause problems but I'm going with the consensus and a Floyd UD.

 

Mayweather via UD. 9-3 type score. Canelo is just not good enough IMO and he'll have no back up plan once he starts losing rounds. He's have to score an early rounds KO and I don't see him capable of doing that.

As for Garcia-Mathyssee, I could see it going either way. Would like to see Danny fight smart and pay attention to defense and not just brawl. I'm gonna say Mathyssee's firepower is the difference and he stops Garcia late in a very competitive fight. Mathyssee via late TKO.
