Groundhog Day

Rewatched this classic with my daughters. they loved it. It still an awesome film. Bill Murray's best role ever. I hate him in everything else.

Yup. His role in Ghostbusters in the same. His role in Kingpin (which was awesome BTW) was the same. His role in Scrooged was the same...

Funnily enough I think this movie is very re-watchable, I have literally watched it over and over and over again.I was talking with my sister about it the other day - how many times do you think Phil lived through Groundhog's Day? My sis and I were thinking nearly 10 years... about 36,000 times. What do you think? And watch out for that first step it's a doooooozy!

I can't stand him. Find him terribly annoying and I have read that in real life he behaves like a spoiled diva. This is his only film I can rewatch. I hate him even in his 'acclaimed roles' like "Lost in Translation", "The Life Aquatic", "Rushmore", "The Royal Tenenbaums"...heck I don't even found Ghostbusters funny: it has nice special effects, etc but the film was so-so, never watched it again and the sequel was atrocious. Only "Scrooge" is watchable (once). If a movie has him in the lead, you bet I will not watch it.

He sounds awesome. #3 is the best.

 

Wow. That's much more insane than I would've guessed. Altho it makes some sense - by the end he had memorized everything that happened in nearly the entire town. for that whole day

 

One of the best movies ever.
