My opinion on him has recently changed. I think he's a good fighter and not easy for anybody at 140, including Prograis and Taylor.

He's fighting tomorrow on ESPN... against one of Cdogg's cousin... Danny O'Coooner.

Probably not gonna be this year. Saucedo is fighting Hooker in the fall. If Saucedo wins that fight, then yeah, Arum probably makes a Saucedo-Ramirez unification for early 2019.

The class of the division is Progais, Taylor, and Lipinets. It's a shame we won't see Ramirez fight any of those three guys anytime soon.

I maintain that I think Ramirez is a good fighter. I think Prograis and Taylor would beat him though.... but I think Ramirez would have his moments in a losing effort.

Jose Ramirez should pull a Daniel Dubois or Tommy Morrison and get some random scrub in the crowd to fight him on extremely short notice

Sucks for O'Connor. Doesnt really duck for us. This was a gross mismatch.

    Ramirez shoulda been fighting Prograis.

On a serious note.... it's good that O'Connor ended up hospitalized for dehydration... easily treatable.

Had this fight gone through with the way he apparently struggled with the weight, we might have been looking at a ring death.

This truly might have saved O'Connor's life.

So I'm just learning that apparently there's bad blood between Ramirez and Saucedo.

All the more reason to make that fight.

Oh well... that Lithuanian banger (forgot how to spell his name) that's now fighting in the main event versus Carlos Abregu is a much better fight anyway... so it actually works out better for us.

Tim Bradley is getting a little bit better as a commentator. He was horrible when he first started, but he's becoming decent.

    agREED.

Removing Teddy Atlas, Which REED Didn’t Like Initially, Allowed Bradley ROOM to Grow.

We’ve Tolerated WORSE Than Tim Bradley for Sure, as Boxing Fans.

The team should just be Tesitore and Bradley.

Mark Kriegel doesn't know shit about boxing, brings nothing to the table, is boring as fuck, and comes across to me as an arrogant prick.

Kriegel Adds "Color" to the Commentary in REED's Opinion...

No, he's Not a Boxing Guy, but he Digs into What Makes the Fighter's He Covers TICK...REED Likes the Trio as Currently Constituted...

Ramirez will now fight Antonio Orozco on Sept. 14 (the night before Golov-Canelo II).

Orozco is another guy who has struggled to make 140, but... he's a helluva lot better than that total bum Danny O'Connor, and this should be an action-packed matchup.

I predict Ramirez will be pushed as a ppv opponent for crawford.

    Not anytime soon.

It's all but confirmed that Crawford is fighting Jose Benavidez next. After that? It depends. If Matty Ice upsets Pac on Saturday, then Arum will make Crawford-Matthysse for next year.

Benavidez. He's the older, smaller, less talented brother of David Benavidez. He would have zero chance against Crawford.
