Is this a cash-out fight? Or does anyone think Castillo could have some real success?

Castillo has about as much a chance of winning this fight as Tito does of winning the Jones fight.

Is this fight happening? I thought Margarito had another opponent instead.

Well to answer the question, no Castillo has no chance.

Actually he has much less of a chance. Castillo is no puncher at 147 and Margarito does have a good chin. Tito is a big puncher and Roy has a weak chin. I know we have never seen Tito at 170lbs but it's a pretty safe bet that he's still a decent puncher at least a bigger puncher than Castillo at WW.

Tito and Castillo are still both losing though regardless.

What if Castillo trains with the power punching specialist?

I'd have to review a tape of Castillo punching melons before I answer that.

Is Tito's punch likely to be any less powerful than Glencoffe's at 175?

That's still 10 pounds heavier than he's fougt before. Just because Johnson carried his power up to 175 from 160 doesn't mean that Trinidad can carry his power from 140/147 up to 170.

This whole fight is shit, and there's no possible way Tito can win.

    What?

You're gonna miss a great heavyweight showdown between Mike Mollo and Andrew Golota...not to mention the continuing return of Alex Bunema.

Poor Castillo. He has to keep taking these fights because he missed out on the 1.2 million dollar purse for Corrales 3.

He will receive the worst beating of his career by Margarito. He is too small. I hope he's getting a million for this one but I seriously doubt it I don't think he even got 500K for the Hatton fight. Does anyone know?

Didn't he end up paying a huge amount of money for not making weight in that fight? I remember Corrales suing him, but I haven't heard anything since the death. Any info?

Castillo was a weight cheat, and I doubt that the Corrales rematch was the only time he had his doctor lie about making weight, or had someone put their foot under the scale. Remember how much bigger he looked against Mayweather, who now comfortably fights at 147?

Boxing's full of beaten-up, muddle-brained paupers. What's so special about Castillo?

You'd best hope not :crafty: .

 But seriously, this is another waste of time gimme that no real Margarito fan should attempt to defend or even hype up, I'll simply close by saying the very common phrase,.. "Wake me up when he....(fights someone compelling and meaningful, ie- Williams, Cintron, Clottey, Cotto, Mosely...he's not allowed to fight Fraud because he's apparently not worthy but, it aint his fault that he hurt Fraud's groupies so badly.

I could care less about Zab at this point. He's one of the biggest wastes of talent in boxing history, and now it appears he's washed up. Margarito will fuck him up.
