Word is that they might fight on the Cotto-Clottey Undercard. Good fight.

It was said that it would be healed by January. The Margorito fight would take place in March.

GREAT fight! I've wanted to see Judah back in the mix...he's a great Welterweight gatekeeper...and I would LAUGH if he were to win.

I thought Margarito had promised us before his last fight:
"This is the last bum I fight. I promise! Please believe me! I'll finally step up in my next fight"
And now he pulls off this crap?

It's for a good cause. Think of it as charity.

Judah is good enough for Mayweather so he's good enough for Margarito. How dare you talk about a former two time two division champion like Judah the way you do. Judah is one of Mayweathers best wins.

This would be way better than a possible Margarito/JL CAstillo that was planned for that double header. :cheer:

Let's see if Margarito is able to stay on his feet against Judah, unlike Floyd :bears:

Zab looked shot in his last fight. Margarito could KO him pretty early.

You can say a lot of things about Judah but you can't say his competition is sub par. Yes he loses, but he's talented enough to beat almost all welters, yet he always face the toughest ones. I didn't see his last fight though, so Margarito might really be a cash out fight if he's shot as Xplosive suggested. Nonetheless, He'll have faced Tszyu, Witter, Mayweather, Cotto, Spinks and possibly Margarito. That's a pretty good list of opponent. He didn't fare too bad too apart from against Tszyu. Not bad IMO.

Its been the plan for awhile. Assuming Clottey wins tonight, he'll face Cotto in March, with Margarito-Judah in the co-feature. And assuming Cotto & Margarito both win, and neither get injured, then its Cotto-Margarito in June at MSG.

    When did he fight Spinks?:dunno:

  25. Ugotabe Kidding

They fought twice. Spinks first defended his welterweight crown against Judah and beat him in a great fight, Judah then won the rematch with a fluke KO

  26. ArturoGatti

    He fought him TWICE.

 Zab was winning the fight even before the KO. it wasn;t exactly fluke either considering he dropped Spinks the first time they fought and was in control of the rematch.

Cory toyed with him and got careless.
