Oblivion Tom Cruise stars again as a hero named Jack (has anyone kept track how many characters named 'Jack' Cruise has portrayed? it seems like a Scientology thing LOL). The trailer gives you all the plot details you need to know. Don't let anyone spoil you this one since this is a modern science fiction classic. It is the kind of movie that feels like it was based on book, but it wasn't, but that you will love to read the book to get all the info the film left out. That will be a great book. This is an excellent film. I wasn't crazy about some things in the ending, but that was a minor problem that didn't hurt the film too bad. 8.5/10

 

It was OKAY....bored to death for 3/4 of the movie though...the last 25-40 minutes saved it...

Kinda movie you see once more because really there is nothing new to discover...it was simple...

I speak the truth and spread the gospel...Oblivion is OKAY..nothing special. It's Prometheus without all the hype..shit Prome you have to watch twice for deeper meaning..not this one. at least Oblivion is not full of shit..straight forward movie...

 

I told you guys that Oblivion is a fantastic movie. The visual effects, the camera work, the sound effects, the soundtrack. It is all perfect. The movie is a work of art.

It is a pretty good movie, but I will not call it great. It is in the STARMAN minor classic scifi category, not in the 2001: A SPACE ODYSSEY level.
That said...you no longer consider WATCHMEN as the best movie you have ever watched?

 

SPOILER! There is a major flaw in the movie. Only about 1% of the nitrogin atoms in sea water consists of deuterium and tritium atoms which are fit for nuclear fusion. 99% of the nitrogin in sea water cannot be used for nuclear energy. So sucking up all the water by the machines is bullshit.

 

The movie is indeed better than Watchmen.

 

The movie is SIMPLE...just like you.
