Self explanatory.... movies that our considered classics that you find overrated. I'll start with.... The Big Lebowski. Fuck this bullshit movie! Also, Wall Street. Michael Douglas' performance still holds up today, but the movie itself hasn't aged well. Still a good movie even now, but doesn't feel like a great one.
Is there an objective standard by which a film is deemed a classic? Or do you have a list of films that are considered classics?
Film is a lot more subjective than sports, and everybody has their own standards of what's a classic, and what's not. Just give your list.
Be more specific. The first, the second, or both? I think part II is overrated. The first is the masterpiece it's hyped to be.
Agreed! Good one! Terrible movie! As harsh as I am on Scarface... Scarface is The Godfather compared to The Warriors.
