Only guy in the last half century I pick over him (I haven’t seen enough film before that) at 135 is Duran, and that’s only a slight favorite. I pick Whitaker to win a 7-5, 8-4 type decision over Floyd from 135-147, or at least the Whitaker up to 95’.

 

He barely spoke about the opponents even though that was the whole point of the article.

Yep. That's the one thing that irritated me about him sometimes. The smug smile or shoulder shrug when he made guys miss. OK great defense, but open up and make them pay for it instead of congratulating yourself.
