Yeah he did, at least 2. Didn't land. Caiz appologized to Walker after the fight. I don't think he appologized because he thought he (Caiz) fucked up, but because he realized after that Walker wasn't actually hurt. An interesting fight to reference back to in the future so it's at least memorable for that, if nothing else.
IMO, thats the only case were a standing 8 count should be allowed, when the ref stops a fight but instantly realize he fucked up. Its absurd that a ref cant reverse a stoppage call when its obvious the fighter can continue.
I disagree. If the ref doesn´t step in, the other guy doesn´t stop punching, and Walker didn´t defend himself. Yes he appeared clear a second later, but that does nothing for me. If you are clear enough, take a knee, if you cannot defend yourself any other way.
He didn't even have enough time to think about taking a knee. The guy dropped his guard for a sec, got caught with two shots and it was over. If Caiz was reffing the fight between Pavlik and Taylor we'd all be talking about what a bum Pavlik was right now.
