  4. I can't see the trailer right now...but Im looking forward to this.
I just hope it's not as heinously mediocre as 'Quantam Of Solace'.

Word. That damn trailer was actually directed and edited better than QoS was.

Hard to totally tell if it will be better because the trailer was so high octane and most of the scenes didn't really connect to each other. I think it'll be good though, and will most definitely check it out.

They really need a new James Bond. This guy Daniel Craig is so old!

Perhaps it's growing up with Moore as Bond, but the comedy in those films was enjoyable and it isn't there now. Maybe I was enjoying something that shouldn't have been there as Bond is apparently supposed to be closer to Craig's Bond in the books.

The humour with Moore was something I really liked whereas Craig's Bond just seems vicious and largely unfunny.

Different bonds. Literally. Not just a different actor, but a totally different 007. They changed things up when they said that 007s dont seem to last too long around here.

He is younger than Brosnan and moore. He is one of the youngest bonds.

Clive Owen and Mark Strong would make a good Bond.

I think Clive would make a terrible bond.

Christian Bale would be a great Bond. Bruce Wayne sh*ts all over James Bond.

Moore will always be my favorite and although I agree with you about missing that humor he brought, I much prefer the more serious realistic tone that comes with today's version.

  18. I'm pretty staggered that people prefer Roger Moore over Sean Connery, who is the greatest Bond ever.
That's not my opinion - that's universally accepted.

I too, grew up with Moore - my first mvie was 'Live & Let Die' which is his greatest Bond to date.
'Man With The Golden Gun' was okay, but as Buddy liked the humour, I just thought it was bad (and they ruined the greatest car-stunt ever, by putting a penny-whistle sound-effect over it. Wankers)

Daniel Craig is the 2nd-greatest Bond after Connery.
But 'QoS' remains the greatest 007 'PoS'.

Slystaff's your man when it comes to 007 though. (after me, that is)

Here you go once again trying to shove your (and in this case others) opinion down our throat. I already know its widely accepted that Connery is the best Bond ever, however the fact that I didn't grow up in his era and therefore didn't bother watching his version of Bond is the reason why I prefer Moore. Fact is I think I would prefer Moore even if had seen more of Connery. I just like Moore's style.

  20. That's just blissful ignorance though.
It's like me saying, "I never grew up in the 60s or 70s so I won't bother listening to any 60s or 70s music....I'll just stick to the fucking generic-standardized-shit of today, even though I know it utterly sucks compared with the 60s and 70s"

    he looks like a monkey

I disagree. I've seen enough clips and small samples of Connery's Bond and I know I prefer Moore over him. I understand why everyone prefers Connery though, and I have never tried to argue Moore was better, it's just my personal preference. So see, it's not so much a blissful ignorance.

He looks like a shrivelled up grandfather. Old fart! They should've just brought in Michael Caine or De Nitro as Bond if they're looking for grandfathers to play the role.

Moore was in his 58 playing bond. What the fuck are you talking about Hanz?

  25. So, you've never actually seen any of Connery's Bond-movies...just clips???

    FFS...

Roger Moore was an old fart too. Not sure who thought hiring grandfathers in the role of James Bond was a good idea.

they should just have a new Bond in each movie.....and make it a surprise too, so in the trailers his face is blurred and the actor is unannounced

Agree 100% even though even Moore tried to be more serious in "For Your Eyes Only" which had less gadgets and humor, but more awesome stunts.
