Snowpiercer

I lasted 20mins watching Snowpiercer and thought "is everyone that raves over this movie having a laugh?"

Then I realised it's Fightbeat's Korean-movies-are-great-glitterati going overboard as they tend to do..

It's a woefully overrated 'Emporer's New Clothes' of movies.
Average acting, so-so plot, nothing of any note to give this anything more than a 6/10.

I thought we went over this once before that you can’t score a film on just 20 minutes of viewing it. I’ve had plenty of films where I aborted viewing them but I always give those films a score of incomplete.

 

I´ve never experienced that.
I´ve lost count the amount of times I gave a movie a 2nd and 3rd chance and watched at least 3/4 of it only to go ´Nope. I was right afterall´.

A classic example of this is Captain Phillips. I attempted to watch that four fucking times and still hated it.
