Netflix sit-com series - started it tonight and it's not bad!

 

Doesn't it have a laugh track? Looks pretty fucking horrible. Like Netflix's version of Two Guys And A Fat Kid mixed with The 70's Blows.

 

A welcome return to the laughter-track genre!
Can't stand all the modern-day 'clever comedy' at all - for arseholes.

I'm generally a nostalgic, as everyone knows, but one thing I DO prefer about nowadays to the "good ole days" is end of laugh-tracks. Don't get me wrong, laugh tracks bolstered truly funny/great sitcoms like Martin, Married with Children, Sanford & Son, and All in the Family, but they made bad sitcoms, like Family Matters, even worse.

 

Wow this must be getting killed by the critics or is super unknown if you say you liked it. Then again, you said it’s okay so I see you don’t want to give it too much credit.

 

It's probably me just being 'nostalgic'...

 

Married with Children didn't had a recorded 'laugh-track': it was taped in front of a live audience and you can hear their cheers, howls and whistles when Al or Kelly entered the scene. Many times the actors had to wait until the cheering stopped to deliver their next line. That was one of the pleasures of that show.
