I am being dragged to it by some friends, I really don't wanna see it.

I will do a quick run-down after sometime.

That bad? I knew it would be crappy but that bad? I never planned on watching it but this cements it.

It really was that bad. The effects occasionally hit the mark, but most of them were surprisingly amateurish in appearance. Sadly, that was the least of this shocker's woes. I mean, the lead is a guy from a local Aussie show, Home & Away. I hadn't realised until I was told just beforehand --- no one with credible acting ability is birthed from that soapy teenage series, although before I could say he was completely unworthy of sharing the silver screen with a legend like Hopkins, the former Cannibal turned in singularly the least interested performance of his long career.

Some of the dialogue will either make you laugh, or cry for modern film-making. The kind of stuff which makes the Star Wars prequels dialogue look classy. Like I say, I did honestly expect a poor film, & to be fair, this is not my type of movie. Even so, I cannot possibly see how anyone could accept this.

I'd be surprised if I ever walk out of a movie in a cinema again in my lifetime. It's almost never I'll stop watching a DVD if I start it, no matter how awful. This thing was worse than last year's Skyline --- & I thought that was a movie which would be the worst produced for the next twenty-five years.

Hell yeah I'm going to see it.

    Odin, Loki and what not.

Although it seems as though they're not suggesting that Thor and Odin are God's but rather that Odin is King of teh world that Thor comes from and Thor is his prince. I guess that's clever. It satisfies both the traditionalists and the non-conformist extreme left "progressives"....

Yeah....Rotten Tomatoes seems to like it.

I'll therefore take Ramonza's stance with a grain of salt.

If it was that bad it would definitely have been killed on the tomato reader..

I'm definitely going to watch it.

7.7 rating on imdb, which is very good. I doubt it's worse than Clash of the Titans, which was not a good movie, but was mildly entertaining.

Saw this last night and I enjoyed it.

    Natalie Portman would get it.

I thoughtn 'Thor' was one of the best Marvel adaptations...didn't really have anything to complain about.

Looking forward to seeing 'The Avengers' next year.
(or rather, seeing how they do it)

I'm with Ramonza on this one. I wasn't feeling the Thor flick too much either, although I'd be hard pressed to remember why not.
