  1. Nah Floyd is an extreme all time talent that was so far above his peers at his best weights that even as he got older and degraded with age as all do, and fought bigger and bigger fighters, his talent level was such that he still couldn't taste defeat.

    That's what it is.

Duran for example was dominant at lightweight but as he move up he became vulnerable. Many other guys needed to be at their peaks to beat top contenders but any slight issue and they got their ass beat ( curry va honeyghan for example).

Floyd fought through inactivity, injuries, all styles, all sizes for two decades and was still beating ass...to the point where to this day even though he's in his forties people want to see him fight GGG at middleweight. That's greatness.

Sure, he's an immature ass. But who cares? Skills pay the bills. That's all that matters.

Dudes skills were off the charts and even his most ardent haters will look back and appreciate them in 10 years. The dude had zero weaknesses. Zero.

  2. Dude I don't know why I even respond to you in boxing topics. You are out of you element in this forum. Stick to what your good at, posting pics of girls asses and leave the boxing discussion to us big boys.

Your contributions here are limited to:

"Cotto and Tito are the best"
    "I hate Floyd"
"I'll listen to whatever the forum consensus is on the other fighters"

    Clown.

Yeah, I mean, who needs to WATCH BOXING? That's for "old school" guys... Floyd have his own school

who seriously says that? Even Hut doesn't say that and he might actually go gay for Duran if the man asked him to

Duran pre-1979 is a top 10-15 all time p4p fighter by any objective measure

Jesus of montreal WBC Silver Diamond Emeritus Champ

Im not sure i agree. I think he would lack a big enough name to be rated this high. His best name would have been either Buchanan or de Jesus, who while being excellent fighters, are probably not prestigious enough to crack the top 15. But even then, im not sure pbf is actually a top 10-15 fighter ever.

    ILLUMINATI Roberto Duran

Haha...youre the clown....I have never said Cotto or Trinidad are the best....

THis post is that of a CLOWN....
So Armstrong wouldn't beat an over the hill De La Hoya? struggle with Castillo and Corrales? lol...

  10. nostalgia motherfucker. Armstrong was great in his day but if he fought that Oscar at 154lbs he'd likely get butchered.

"17 years into his career"..............................fighting once every blue moon compared to the old timers against the guys Floyd has been fighting.........it's easy to see Carmen Basilio beating the piss out of Canelo over 15 at the end of "17 years" of cherry picking that no self-respecting migrant labourer would dare engage in.

  12. Twice a year is a decent cadence for top fighters these days. At the end of his career Hagler was fighting once a year.

And when he retired, now, don't tell nobody this......he didn't fight at all.

  14. Hahahaha. Nice one. Now you don't tell anyone this: after Floyd retired, he fought 10 times more. ;)
