Worst franchise?

To me, it HAS TO BE Fast & Furious. Not a fucking ONE of those movies were quality. For the life of me I can't believe how popular a franchise it became. Such shitty, mindless movies.

 

"Transformers". At least "Fast & The Furious" can be a bad movie, drinking game type fun. "Transformers" is just obnoxious headache inducing noise and colors.

 

LA Clippers

 

Modern day incarnation of the Cleveland Browns.

 

Pretty much the same for me. Saw the first one and just bits and pieces of all the others. I think I'd become suicidal if I had to watch a marathon of all of them in a row.

 

Twilight

 

Another one that's really, really bad, but can be unintentionally funny and super fun to pick apart if you're watching it with other people.......so it has some redeeming qualities to it.

 

Twilight only appeals to teenage girls and male homos. Horrible movies, but I "get" why young girls are into them.

I dunno WHO the fuck keeps going to see the F&F franchise. Apparently, many. I don't get it. They're suuucchhh mindless/repetitive/stupid movies.

 

Alien and Predator franchises.

They've done everything possible to ruin two great movies and their sole sequels.

 

Very true, but I those franchises haven't exactly generated big box office numbers.

F&F does.

Now I that about it.... need to add Pirates of the Caribbean to the list. First one was really enjoyable, even for adults. They shoulda stopped there.

 

I will not say is the worst franchise, but I never gave a damn about 'Pirates of the Caribbean'.

 

It's a pretty shitty franchise as a whole, but the first one was pretty enjoyable and would have been fine if it was a stand alone.

The first one was better than ANY of the F&F movies.

But yeah, as a whole..... POTC is a shit franchise.

 

I thought you were a Saw fan, or at least liked the first one.

 

I can't speak on the Resident Evil franchise cause I never bothered watching any of them. They just look stupid.

1988 Batman was good. The following movies in the serie all sucked

Jaws was a good movie. The following movies sucked.

 

Jaws 2 was pretty good I thought. After that is was awful of course.

 

Am I the only person who enjoyed JAWS 3D? I liked the fact that it wasn't repetitive as 2 & 4 and that the lead was the teenager son of Roy Scheider's character (played by Dennis Quaid).

 

No franchise in which the first movie was very good can qualify for this. So Jaws doesn't belong, cause despite the mediocre follow ups, the first one was a classic. Saw also doesn't belong.

F&F... you're talking about a franchise built off a SHITTY original movie!

 

Many horror franchises...but I still love 'em....

But yeah FnF and Transformers are probably the worse franchises ever....1 and 2...I Transformers takes the cake...I watcj them all(once) and 30-40 minutes in I start getting a headache n need to lay down...but I keep watching just to say I did...

 

FNF is GARBAGE. I give you that unlike other franchises where the movies get worse...this one is up and down....but never GOOD...at least the movie don't cause seizures.

 

I don't know why they get so much hate...when the clear message is popcorn-entertainment....guy flicks. :dunno:

 

....No, i wouldn't....and Rock,Diesel Statham are not in the same universe as Arnold, Willis, or Stallone...
