you can't clinch and punch. that's called holding and hitting. and it's every bit as illegal as clinching; in fact, it's viewed as a more serious infraction. you're not allowed to hold a guy while you hit him for obvious reasons. but for some reason, ref lets him do it. and it's basicallyh all he does.
