JDS will probably win but its not like it would be the shock of the century if he got wrestled to death...

Oh hell yeah! How great would it be if the coaches challenge was dodgeball? Could you imagine what Brock would look like? :Ramonza:

This makes no sense. He doesnt want to wait for Velasquez, but he will be in TUF? Wouldnt by the time TUF is finished Velasquez would be ready?

If they film it right away, Velasquez probably still won't be ready. The winner fights Cain Velasquez when he's healthy. It's probably going to start filming quite soon.

The fight will be in June. Dana White said 100% the fight is in June. They wanted it to be in Toronto but Cain got hurt and needed surgery.

I know nothing about MMA but Brock has basically fought everyone hasn't he? I've said it before but I wish we had boxers with the same heart.

Yup. Well he has fought top guys since his debut in UFC. Mir x2, Hering, Couture, Carwin, Cain, and Now JDS. Not that many options left out there for him. Cro-Cop, Nelson, Kongo, Schaub.

His resume is unmatched for a guy with only a handful of fights.

Interesting fight. I don´t think JDS can stay upright like Cain, when the inevitable bullrush comes. It´s unlikely that JDS will catch Brock with such a good punch that he dazes him badly, so I expect Brock to end up on top of JDS in round one. It will be interesting to see what JDS can do off his back.

That's the way I see it too. People are crediting striking for Cain's win over Brock and while he finished with strikes, he would have never had a chance to do that without his wrestling.

Thats very true.....brock was able to take him down and put him in bad positions against the cage but he worked his way out of all of them fairly quickly

Same with the Carwin fight. he stuffed the TD's and explited Brock's glaring weakness, striking. You gotta stay upright to do that. Can JDS keep it standing? I'm not so sure.

Brock is a takedown machine. Cain and Carwin have the wrestling pedigrees to withstand it. JDS is going to be in for a rude awakening about how truly great Brock's wrestling is.

Word... That is exactly my thinking. I don't think JDS is near explosive enough or quick enough on his feet to avoid that monster getting him to the ground.

You are dead on about Cain and Carwin. Both those guys have solid wrestling backgrounds. On top of that, Cain is just an animal in the way he popped back up against Brock. There isn't another guy on the planet that could do that.
