This version of Khan could win a comfortable decision. But Khan is always a tap in the chin away from the land of the 70 virgins, so I wouldn't count Prescott out.
Presscott is a nobody. I'd be surprised if lightning struck twice from the same fists, though obviously it's only a matter of time before somebody cleans 1-D Khan's clock.
I think people are trying way too hard to turn Khan-Prescott into a poor man's/modern day version of Hearns-Barkley. Prescott was the absolute wrong fighter for Khan to face when he did. They thought they were chasing a fighter who wasn't as good as his glossy record. A couple of other prospects previously made the same mistake with Prescott and lost in nationally televised bouts. Khan's handlers apparently didn't do their homework, and cost their fighter his undefeated record - though making him a better fighter as a result. Prescott, meanwhile, has regressed. My guess is that if a rematch ever happens, Prescott looks for a bomb early, doesn't land one, and spends the rest of the night getting thoroughly outboxed.
Really? Last I heard, McCloskey was the leading candidate. Murray's people are actually eying a fight w/ Juan Manuel Marquez and based on what Khan seems to be offering for the April 16 fight, I'd have to imagine there'd be more in the pot for a fight w/ Marquez (not to mention that Murray wouldn't have to move up in weight).
Ooooo, I can just tell today's not a good day to come rattling the jar for the poor Cornwallese. So, onto the subject,.. all who is concerned about Khan, should have, lots, and lots of faith in his conditioning coach, a man who boldly stood up to the USADA when all others chose to run and hide,.. "Shut up, just shut up!" .... and... :: I think those were his exact words aswell.
I know prescott hasn't been stopped during his pro career, but has he been down? Would be interesting to see if they met if khan lands a body shot like he did vs maidana, how prescott reacts.
Last time I checked the Scene the McCloskey fight had hit a wall and Murray was in play, but nevermind . And wow talk about a slaughter.... Murray is gonna get the thrashing of a lifetime vs Marquez.
Yeah, Murray loses to either of them, big time. Hennessy waited WAY too long to get Murray's career going. Kid had major potential once upon a time but has been largely squandered, to where it's now $hit or get off the pot. Hence, the cash-out opportunities being pursued.
