:: Im a man on a mission. Im working all day and night tomorrow so I need to get all my harassment done on schedule.
I like Bradley in this one. Both guys get hurt or buzzed but Bradley will be busier and win the decision. Bradley talks like he's this badass killer, but he's got fewer KO's than Alexander. I can see Alexander hurting Bradley with something he doesn't see but that's his best shot of KOing Bradley. Tim almost always gets nailed with lefthooks...almost never sees them coming...Alexander as a southpaw can throw his left straight down the pipe. With that said, Tim gets buzzed but doesn't go out. I think there's a ton of waiting around and feinting by Alexander which allows Tim to win rounds simply on being more active. Sadly, if Alexander pushed the pace with his straighter shots he could take Bradley out. Bradley punches SOOO damn wide with almost everything except his jab. Not sure if it's in Alexander's mindset to push the pace...he'll want to be patient and box which is a mistake against Tim. Bradley by decision.
I'm not particularly excited for the fight to be honest. In my opinion, these two guys are very ordinary fighters and neither has a style that is conducive to making exciting fights. I tried to hype myself up these past few days by replaying previous Bradley and Alexander fights, but that only reaffirmed my original feelings on them. Nonetheless, I'll be tuning in live tonight. I think Bradley is the better fight, though, and should win an ugly but clear decision.
140 as a whole is pretty goddamn flawed. You have Con who's the fastest and most athletic, but dumb as a brick, lacking in defense, and with a mediocre at his best chin. Bradley is the toughest, physically and mentally, but he's technically sloppy as hell. Alexander probably has the most skills, but he's too much of a mental midget to use them, and his ring IQ is pretty low. Maidana is the only one with true power, but is completely inept in the skill and defense departments. 140 is all hype.
Alexander is fought like a bitch. Once he started getting roughed up he started doing his best Hopkins impersonation.
Yeah but it is not as bad as the Heavyweights, Dawg......opcorn: As for Alexander, I do wonder what minuscule part of his gigantic skull cavity is occupied by his brain.
