Yep. I've yet to see any serious boxing poster say that SM v Pac is a good fight.

Cotto will outclass Mayorga. Mayorga is too wild and will be countered all night. Plus he's shot to shit.

You're probably right. His behavior is bizarre, after how clear I was.

I don't think Cotto is comfortable with swarming, unpredictable pressure. And I don't think he has the 1 punch power which has proven the only key to having an easy night with Mayorga thus far.

I'd be surprised if this wasn't tough.....if it isn't I think it'll be because Mayorga is shot. He might be....we don't know.

I think Cotto stretches him. Mayorga doesn't convince me anymore.

He was blown out by past primed Trinidad and De La Hoya. Was competitive with Mosley before getting KTFO and my understanding is he didn't look too good in his last fight.

My question is if Mayorga can even MAKE 154. He looked really bad at the photo shoot with Cotto and he's never been what you would call a dedicated athlete.

Cotto blows up in weight too, the difference is that Cotto has real trainers and he will be in shape unlike Retardo Mayorga who probably won't even make the weight.

    Cotto TKO 5

I re watched several fights with Mayorga @147 and I can guarantee you this. Mayorga was a different animal @147 then he was when he fought Tito @160 and Delahoya @154. I don't think he fully recovered from he beating Tito gave him. A prime Mayorga would have been live against both Tito and Delahoya (@147). I know I may get allot of heat by saying this but that's what I believe.

I can't see a single scenario where a prime Mayorga beats a prime DLH. Trinidad is there to be hit, so maybe he'd lose 2-3 times out of 10.

I can't see any version of Mayorga beating a prime Tito. The same factors would be at play...mayorga buzzes Tito then gets KTFO. The only difference between a "prime" Mayorga is the ability to take an ass kicking longer. That's it.

Good point. But he would certainly be live @147. Tito would definitely taste the canvas here. I do agree Tito gets up and KHTFO in the later rounds.

I wouldn't think he'd be live against either guy. Hell, he was closer to his "prime" than Oscar and Tito were at the time...we see how far that got him.

There are reports that Mayorga is training very hard for this fight with Cotto. He knows this is his LAST CHANCE to make a statement. Cant wait for this. The weight in will tell the story on how hard he trained.

The same was said before he fought Oscar...then a week before the fight he was in jail smoking cigarettes.

Stop making faux drama for Cotto.

Faux Drama . Cotto is gonna KO him, but I think its gonna be much more competitive then what many of you think. Including in the first few rounds.

Thats getting old now. Tito was dropped by lesser opponents @147. Believe me he tatses canvas against a prime Mayorga.

Tito didnt have the best chin @147. Mayorga in his prime could crack and had a hell of a chin. I never said he beats Tito, but to say he's not a live opponent is wrong. He would be dangerous for the first half of the fight. Give the man his respect.

I aint giving him shit. Tito's chin was fine. Tito was always off balance when he fought. He would get dropped, but bounce right up and beat the shit out of people. Why would i give Mayorga respect? What has he done to earn it?
