Two powerful men with glass chins. A knockout could happen at any moment, but for whom?

I see both men getting bounced to be honest with ya, but I see Morrison eventually finishing the argument.

    Wont go beyond 5

could go either way, I'd not be able to make a pick with any conviction

Moorer is a better fighter, but hes so vulnerable

Good fight with an open-ended outcome, but I have a little more respect for Moorer as a Heavyweight than most here do, I fancy. I've got him stopping Morrison.

& Morrison was what, exactly? A quality fighter?

Be a cold day in hell before you saw Morrison beat Holyfield, count on that.

Holyfield had a broken heart in that fight! Watch the rematch to see how Moorer deals with a healthy Holyfield. Seriously Ramonza why are you impressed by Moorer? He struggled with so many weak fighters.

Moorer was a phenom at LHW, but at HW.. Morrison by KO.

    Moorer would have stopped him.

But at heavyweight, he was merely the champion of the world.

I guess I missed the part where Morrison was this hard luck heavyweight who simply never got his big break.

Moorer by at least a decisive points win, if not mid-to-late stoppage, depending on which version shows up.

He beat George Foreman. This makes him a legend.:doh:

I agree, it would be hard to see Morrison even come close to beating Holyfield, as close as Bert Cooper and Bobby Czyz and John Ruiz came.:finger:

At HW he had no chance against a fast, strong and long puncher like Morrison.

you seem to be forgetting that punchers arguably MORE VULNERABLE chin, his horrible stamina and his defensive stupidity

if Moorer was THAT EASY a mark, he would have lost long before he ever challenged Holyfield

Definitely. Moorer was a better fighter than Morrison, & he still retained some degree of his crippling power from his LHW days as a Heavy. Certainly, enough to break Morrison.

Holyfield had an excuse in the first fight and in the second Moorer actually does very well in the beginning too.

Moorer was the better of the two but this is pretty much an even fight since Morrison was much the bigger puncher and both were very vulnerable

I'm sorry to say it, but if you pick Morrison here, you don't know anything about boxing.

That's BS. Moorer isn't a lock against any big puncher, let alone a quick-fisted and aggressive one. Bert Cooper came very close of taking him out and Morrison is better than him.

    That's rough!

I disagree. It's more likely a win for Morrison than a win for Moorer IMO. Morrison is the naturally bigger man and heavier puncher. But truthfully it could go either way.

 I'm just shit talking. Still, you have to favour Moorer. He was simply a better fight.

He was good enough to win it all. Much better career at heavyweight than Morrison.

He beat Bert Cooper and he beat Evander Holyfield (who was off that night). He got KO'd by old fat Foreman.

Morrison's wins over Ruddock, Foreman and early KOs of Tillis and Thomas match Moorer's resume at Heavy IMO.

I don't think moorer could have survived Ruddock or as long with Lennox as Morrison did.

Evander Holyfield was a "soft touch" that night and Moorer only barley beat him. Anyone can be heavyweight champion if the defending champ has an off night. I'd argue that Morrison may have also beaten THAT Evander.

I'd argue that Morrison gets stopped by that Evander.

I don't disagree on the part about Moorer's ability to survive against Lewis, but was Ruddock was pretty damn shot when Morrison fought him. In fact, it was the worst available version of Ruddock against Morrison at his absolute best, and was still a war every step of the way.

Moorer was no heavyweight legend, but there are better wins on his resume than Bert Cooper.

Nah...the Evander that stopped Moorer, no doubt.
