And yet Pac's opposition is still better. Suppose that's what happens when you focus on making match ups rather than cherry picking marketable names (who obviously have to won their last to be marketable) at the lowest possible risk.

Agreed to an 80/20 split and also the taking of blood samples the day of the fight and between every round.

In your opinion what is Pacs biggest win so far?

When the fight was off bro.

It's kind of the equivalent of a teenager refusing to get into a fight at high school because the other dude demanded him to take off his rings then have him send an email to all the guys from school during the summer saying that he agrees to his opponent's demands wondering where is that coward (knowing that the guy is on the other side of the country on a trip)

Go back in time and take the fight when it was there or just wait until Floyd's legal mess ends.

I think its simple. Go to a Detroit Pistons Game. Have the announcer interview him and he needs to challenge him in his home town at the same time calling him Dad a crackhead and his mom a cunt.

You will have the fight signed by the end of the week.

How about.. Get off the juice & take the fucking drug test instead of giving bullshit excuses and fighting Floyd's leftovers?

I so hope the fight comes off and Filipino betting somehow moves the line to the point where Pac is the favorite. Easy money.

Trouble is, that would just add Manny to PBF's hypothetical resume, & deem him officially not worthy of PBF's attention.

He offered to take the tests last time. Floyd 'wasn't thinking about boxing'.

True. Floyd would say "Manny is a C fighter, I dont need to fight him, I fight the best, gimme Khan"

No, he offered to take the tests with a 2 week cutoff point. The same 2 week cutoff point that Floyd had said was henceforth no longer on the table after he'd offered it as a compromise and Manny had rejected it.. almost a year earlier.

Be in the same room, when was the last time they were both in the same building? I've always thought it needed a Calzaghe - Hopkins type moment to make it happen

To expand on that, if Floyd fights again, Manny needs to be ringside. When they show his face on the big screen the crowd will go crazy, and will most likely chant "Manny, Manny" throughout the fight which will hurt Floyds ego enough to make the fight

Yeah, it sucks. Lesser of two evils (I'd rather see him fight Mosley than not fight at all, for example) but Pacquaio's run has been frustrating to me for about a year now.

    That's nice.

If it was good enough for Floyd the first time, it should have been good enough the second.

Agreed. The Mosely fight is particularly bad though.

Why should it be, when he'd already stated six months earlier that it was off the table now? He made every possible concession to Manny including 50/50, then asked for drug testing and compromised there as well. 2 weeks is a hole big enough to drive a truck through when it comes to evading PED detection to begin with.

Pacquiao just needs to continue doing what he's been doing: fight solid competition regularly and win impressively. In doing so, Pacquiao has PBF exactly where he wants him, in the position of either having to face Pacquiao or not fight at all. Pacquiao has the upper hand. He's the number one guy now. PBF is the guy who got chased out of the sport.

Yeah I would've liked to see Pacquiao fight someone more deserving and worthy than Mosley. Especially if I'm paying $50 to watch it. But let's remember that Pacquiao's fights these days are very much indirect bouts with PBF. And that by fighting and beating decisively guys who either have fought PBF or who PBF has deliberately avoided fighting, Pacquiao wins points in the public debate and retains his upper-hand.

Pacquiao has a great opportunity to improve on PBF's performance against Mosley - to show everyone, "how it's done," and to drive home yet again that PBF is very much a safety-first and fan-hostile fighter, whereas Pacquiao is a lion-hearted warrior who doesn't coast to victory.

Pacquiao's domination of ODH, his KO of Hatton, his battering of Margarito, and now what will be his destruction of Mosley all point to Pacquiao's superiority over PBF and reinforce that the unless PBF wants to get in the ring with Pacquiao, the boxing world has no use for him.

His domination of a washed up DLH.. after Floyd had beaten him

His KO of Hatton.. after Floyd had KO'd him

His battering of Margarito.. after Mosley had battered him WORSE

His destruction of Mosley.. I don't even really need to say anything here, you get the picture.

Pac is a fucking con artist. I was a big fan of his up until he ducked Marquez and fought David fucking Diaz, then went on his current run of cherry-picked opponents.
