    :NotThink:

Interesting quote from an MMA publicist.

Sounds like something someone on this forum has been saying for weeks.

    :dunno:

OK so Silva is 4 inches taller and naturally 20-25 pounds heavier.

I don't have an issue with that.

So, to summarize, Silva is naturally a much bigger fighter.

Why is it so hard for you to accept that Silva is a much bigger fighter??

Why is the pressure on GSP to move up? I don't get it. I'd rather see Anderson move up for good and compete at LHW. I don't even care about a Silva vs GSP fight.

I would definitely love to see the fight, with that being said, I'm with you I would love to see Anderson move up to 205 and get in the mix.

Anderson isn't a 205lber like GSP isn't a 185lber, and there's no compelling matchup like a GSP-Silva megafight at 205lb to justify the move up.

Well, your own post says GSP is high 180's and Silva is 211? Correct my math but I'm pretty sure that's a natural difference of 20-25 pounds?

Do you disagree? If so, maybe you should contact the MMA Publicist YOU quoted....

    How fucking dumb.....

GSP/Silva is definitely a megafight with two P4P studs. But when its said and done, I would love to see them both move up and challenge themselves. Doubt they will, but it would introduce some great matchups.

The interesting thing is that neither Silva or GSP are clamoring for this fight. They wouldn't talk about it if others didn't bring it up.

I will say that Silva is much better suited for 205 than GSP is 185.

    Straight from GSP's mouth.

"Plus, Silva fights at light heavyweight as well. So he walks around at... he's probably 40 pounds heavier than I am [between fights]. So if I fight this fight, it might be at a catch weight. If it happens."

TLC - it is and has always beencommon knowledge in the MMA world that Anderson is the BIGGEST MW at his NATURAL weight. Why you insist on stirring the pot on this topic speaks volumes about your character, or lack thereof. Just because you have an extensive vocabulary and use tricky vernacular doesn't make you any more or less smart than anybody on FB. In fact, you continually bash EACH AND EVERY FIGHTER IN EACH AND EVERY THREAD THROUGHOUT YOUR ENTIRE POSTING HISTORY. You are a CAREER TROLL. And you can only talk shit from behind your keyboard. Funny - every fighter you criticize would pop you like a zit and wipe their ass with your face.

    Why are you still here?

:dunno: Question of the year right there. His opinion is dismissed by default by pretty much everyone at this point.

Silva is obviously bigger, but sometime I question your reading skills, Trpl.

Alright, I think its going far enough. I don't think we need to go down this road guys. Just because you don't agree with a post, posts, or whatever, we don't need to ask the guy to leave. I like the group here. I don't want anyone to leave.

Really? Well then tell me there Dr. Andrew. Did he NOT note a 20-25 pound weight difference? Yes or no?

I don't give a shit who eats what. The bottom line is that between fights Silva is NATURALLY 20-25 pounds heavier.

    Dispute that.

I get the sarcasm and tongue and cheek. I just think we are a bit too quick to jump TLC anymore. I understand the point he is trying to make here. I still think Silva is the more naturally larger human, but the fact that walk around weights differ severely due to eating habits is what he is trying to convey.

Bullshit. Almost every post the guy makes is to diminish a certain fighter. In this case it is GSP, who he has clearly bashed in the past. He is being pre-emptive, so that when they fight, he will act as if no size disadvantage existed.

Size won't matter as much anyway because Andy will probably be meeting Greasy at a catchweight.

TLC sometimes seems like a good poster, but he is as lacking in objectivity as any poster I've ever seen.

    Qwerty/Esk levels of blind subjectivity.

At what stage was this picture taken? If they both make 185, then there is no reason this fight shouldn't be on.

Look at Shogun and Jones, they both made 205, but Jones TOWERED Rua in height and overall bone structure plus incredible advantage in reach.

When Silva fought at 205, that's pretty much his walking around weight.
