The Pawel Wolak bandwagon!

After his beautiful ass whupping last night which forever rid us of having to see Yuri Foreman again... I think this guy deserves a thread!

He'd get whipped badly by a top fighter, but he deserves a title shot for the service he provided last night.

How would a fight between he and the Ginger go down?

 

Wolak looked good, he's a throw back come forward & punch guy, he'll make for good fights whoever they match him with.

Cotto-Wolak would be allot of fun.

He has a better shot at beating the Ginger.

 

Cotto winning and it being allot of fun aren't mutually exclusive.

 

Well, it'd be fun in a one sided beating sense is what I was trying to say.

Wolak-Alvarez would be just as fun, and even though I'd favor the Ginger... Pawel certainly would be more competitive vs Alvarez than Cotto.

 

I like Wolak...I'm all for him making as much money as possible in his next fight.....be it in a thorough ass whooping by the hands of Cotto, Angulo, Williams....or a somewhat winnable fight vs. Ginger or Chavez Jr...

 

He'd have a fair chance against Chavez Jr.

 

I heard a rumor that Kermit the frog would get a shot at whoever won Wolak-Foreman.

Honestly, Ginger Vs Wolak is an even money fight for me. Same as Ginger Vs Soto Karass.

 

Speaking of which... Wolak vs Soto Karass would be a fun fight to watch. Distance fight for sure, considering both are tough but neither one has much pop.

 

It would be a good fight actually, no doubt. Neither are top tier guys obviously, but they are two tough, determined, fierce little bastards.

 

Regretfully I think Ginger's firepower would be a bit much for Pawel. Even though Alavez isnt a HUGE puncher, Wolak isnt gonna just walk through his shots like he did pussy fisted Foreman. And obviously Alvarez has more skills.

In all honesty, Ginger would have stretched the Foreman we saw last night.

 

BTW - Wolak kinda reminds me of a junior middleweight version of Leonard Dorin.

I think he can beat Chumpez Jr, and he WOULD beat that bum K9 Bundrage.

I think he can give Canelo a stiff test, and he'd be a live underdog.

He'd get murdered by the likes of Cotto, or Angulo though. Kirkland would murder him too, even though Kirkland is overrated. Tall Paul would also thrash him.

A Pirog-Wolak matchup was brought up by Haymaker, which is a joke. Pirog would beat anybody at 154. He's a HUGE middleweight with skill and power. Wolak is listed at 5'8, but looks closer to 5'7.

 

Pirog should step up to 168 and get with the party
