I actually did not like this movie at all. With all of the memory rewinds or whatever I felt like the one movie was shown three times.
Guy Pearce is an excellent actor though and should probably get a shout in the Great Actors thread. My favorite movie of his is probably The Time Machine.
I've yet to see a Christopher Nolan film that I haven't liked. That said, this is the only one that I've stopped recommending to people. Most certainly a "love it or hate it" flick, and I respect both sides of the argument.
Yeah, he's quality...one of my favorite actors...but those best/favorite actor threads pop up more than a whack-a-mole, so I dont post in most of them.
You stopped because YOU liked it and realized a lot of people just didn't? I'm on the didn't side, but like you I can see where enough people do like it, that I won't call it a bad movie. I could see what the film was trying to do and where it was trying to go, but IMO it just didn't do either in the smoothest way, and I thought that made it confusing and gave it a bad pace. But yeah, I understand those who like it. However I cannot understand anyone who thought the Time Machine was a good movie. That movie sucked.
