Imada was picked up from his wrestling sprawl and locked it in. Fekete was high on a side mount when Hale balled up wrapped his legs around the back of Fekete's head, tried to turn onto his back, Fekete stood up in a single leg position and Hale locked in the inverted triangle and he fell unconscious. People are talking about the 2nd inverted triangle they've ever seen, I'm shocked that I've seen the first sub from side mount defense for the first time, that's really considered a dominant position. It's amazing that Bellator will likely have the submission of the year again. I watched this last night and didn't think there was anyway in hell that he would pull that off. Hale wins this tournament in my opinion.
I liked Zombie's twister sub more. From now on he should start coming out to fights to Twist & Shout. That'd be funny.
Dude, Hale was on the bottom with his opponent in side control when he pulled of the inverted triangle. That wins hands down in my mind. But the twister was cool too. Something about Hale putting his guy to sleep might have pushed it over the top for me!!
