I'm surprised that it had a negative reaction. I thought it was the best comedy I had seen in a while. I like the Hangover as well but Tropic Thunder was/is better.

    Not "shit", just overrated

    Bugsy- fucking boring

Titanic- the love story to me isn't very strong. I really didn't think that highly of the screen chemistry between the two leads.

Munich- good for about 60% of the movie, then it just gets boring.

The Blind Side- Sandra Bullock saves big retarded kid. The scene where she threatens a drug dealer is cringe inducing. Not a bad movie, just not especially good either.

The best acting he ever did were the two years after the Truman show, when he pretended to be a serious actor.

Pulp Fiction --- & I don't care if the whole world tells me I'm wrong until they're blue in the face.

For that matter, Tarantino (who ranked another deplorable movie, in Bottle Rocket, amongst his top-10 films of the 90's --- LOL) as a Director generally just does not take me.

I liked some movies Ben Stiller is in, however I don't think he himself is very funny.

The movies that he's been in that I like, he rarely provided the laughs.

I recently watched the movie "Harry Brown" with Michael Caine. It got pretty good reviews.

    It kind of sucked.

I remember I was deployed last year and this movie came on with Jeff Bridges. Guy started calling the name Lebowski, and I was like "oh snap this is that movie the guys on the board are always arguging about." So I sit through the whole thing and I have to say...mark me down as one of the guys who loved it. I got the humor, the characters and everything worked for me. Thought it was brilliant.

Simon Birch was a really good movie, but he was mostly just the narrator of the movie. He was at the very end of the movie for like one minute I think.

Jim Carey has several very good movies. Simon Birch if you want to count that, Man on the Moon, Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind, The Truman Show, and Yes Man are some of my favorites.

Barry Lyndon- beautifully shot movie. It also moves at a snail's pace and could put Ambien out of business. I've read online reviews where people say shit like "oh, people that don't like it don't respect art, this is for sophisticated viewers, blah blah".:rolleyes:

No, the movie is fucking boring.

Somewhat disaapointing was Natural Born Killers. Always touted as a classic, but I never saw why.

i think it gets coverage for being iconic and reflecting the zeitgeist, rather than for actually being good.
