Does anyone here actually plan to order this? And the under-card, as far as I can tell, consists of one fight, the participants of which I've never heard of.

If nobody here plans to order it, who the fuck does? Do events like these actually turn a profit? They must be paying Calderon and Segura peanuts.

I'm saving my cash for next week; the Morales/Maidana card sounds pretty damn good to me. Katsidis/Guererro should be good, and for as long as it lasts, Morales/Maidana will for sure be exciting.

The sad thing is, I'm such a junkie I'm half-tempted to order the Calderon fight, but I know I'll regret it. And I know its way over-priced.

    So anyone here ordering it?

Ring them and tell them we have a very important predictions thread which requires us to see this fight live, and if they don't lower the price, we will have to discount tonights result. They will spoil it for Segura and Calderon, not us. :nono:

I won't be ordering it. Ordering fights over here is a joke, I don't mind paying, but paying to be awake at 5Am? No thanks.

I was going to order it expecting to pay about 30 bucks. When I seen it was 45 or 55 in HD I said hell no. They over priced this way too much. 29.99 should have been the max.

....and so the Ivan Calderon nuthuggery begins. Segura lands his jab, lands to the body, Calderon runs and holds, but they´ll give Calderon all the rounds till he gets knocked out in a sensational come from behind KO. :laugh11:

Segura has massive physical advantages. Was that JCC in the ring earlier? He looks fucked.

Size difference extremely apparent. Segura has no respect whatsoever, just keeps following Calderon and punching away any time he's close.

Oh My God what a comeback Segura knocks him out in round three in sensational fashion. He was so getting schooled. It was a miracle. Calderon is overrated, always has been.

Low Blows. I counted around 20 of them.

    That cunt Margarito annoys me.

Not a single low blow in that finishing sequence there, even with Calderon trying to deflect them low with his gloves and arms. Segura just punched through him. Even the one Segura was warned for was borderline.

By the way, Illuminati, I don't think you picked for this fight? I may have gone ahead of you now into 5th place.

And this is where I always challenge those who claim that Al Bernstein is among the best at what he does. He'll do that and then start screaming at the end of the night when a decision goes the opposite way, not realizing that HE is the one who missed the fight.

Gio looked like a beast last night. I loved that even after the bogus low blows, he kept throwing to the body. That finishing sequence was masterful.

Good article at boxingscene:Thumbs: Calderon has finally met a fighter in Segura that proved to be too strong/big. Ivan should consider retirement. Props to Segura.

Could Segura v Concepcion be a likely fight at 112?

No real interest in any fighter, for me, who isn't at least breaking through the Bantamweight limit. Segura looks big enough to do this soon enough.

He's fought as high as 115 and a half, so i'd like to see him in this division too.

He's a good fighter, aggressive. I like him. A possible Donaire fight for him maybe in the future?

Lol yea, Brentford are 10 minutes away from a third trophy final loss in 26 years. Excellent.

    I can't believe anyone does.

Everytime I see one of his broadcasts I'm shocked that he is seemingly held in high regard.

    He's a total fucking moron.
