As Fighters, BOTH of these Cats R FINISHED & Have Been for SEVERAL Years Now...Mainstream Media will Likely Get Caught Up in the Ongoing "Boxing vs. MMA" Debate, but Truth B Told, Toney vs. Couture (Which was Also a FARCE from the Beginning) was MORE of a LEGIT Fight...& Even Both of them were Considered SHOT when it Happened...

Until a YOUNG, PRIME, ELITE Level Boxer Faces an MMA Equivalent, we'll NEVER Have a TRUE Reference Point for that Particular Debate...

Roy Jones & Pat Miletech COULDN'T B Fuuuuuuuuurther REMOVED from "Elite" Status in their Respective Sports...As Such, This "Fight" they're Proposing Should B Viewed as a TRANSPARENT Attempt @ FLEECING the Public, Just to Pad THEIR OWN Wallets...

    Meaningless.

All Boxer vs MMA fights are meaningless unless the boxer seriously trains in other disciplines first.

It would be cool if Roy trained hard in wrestling and stepped in the cage. His pure athletic ability would be fun to watch....... if he wasn't freaking 42

I think I would seriously take Roy if this happened.

Why? Militech is a wrestler with a black belt in BJJ. What stops him from taking Roy down and submitting him?

Pat is old, slow and completely worn out. What stops Roy from just staying away and picking him apart? He's no stationary target like Toney was.

Hmmm, damn you. Now you've made me remotely interested in this fight. Miletech is a beat up dude for sure.

No way Pat could fight again. I remember how messed up his back was for the Renzo fight. He was pretty worthless.

It won't happen. Roy will be KTFO in Russia.

Hell, in his last fight he knocked Thomas Denny out cold. But that was 3 years ago and he looked like crap in the process.

I love the dude because he's a warrior, but I agree, he shouldn't fight anyone, ever.

if he's going to fight at all it may as well be against a guy with zero MMA experience and a big name.

But likeJoe King said, I think Roy is due to get KTFO by that russian dude who's name escapes me at the moment.

Or if the boxer is in his prime and not at the end of his/their career.

Wouldn't make a difference unless the boxer spent time learning the other disciplines.
