I know a way to make sloppy, slow, heartless, useless heavyweights exciting,.. let's match them up against 'real fighters' in divisions where there never ever seems to be a 'depression' ,..welterweights, featherweights,.. it'll make for some spectacular entertainment, some great endings.
Oh I'm sorry. I didn't know the Klits had decided to never face another American fighter. If that was the case, you'd be right. Hang on, haven't some of those fighters faced a Klit already? Guess your post was completely redundant after all. Getting back to the actual point, can anyone name a weaker American crop at HW? Serious question.
No. Strangely enough when taking into consideration the title of the thread, I think American HWs would be more relevant.
I wanted to expand the topic a bit. Maybe we can form a theory that proves that when America's level at heavyweight sinks, it makes Ukraine rise
Thats just it. Kevin Johnson and Arreola were not regarded as weak. They were undefeated, proud, Americans. Then they lost to a bum and now they too are bums and the entire crop is devastated. Fuck the American scene. America ain't the world. Its like having a few sour grapes on the vine. The rest of the crop is ok.
They are directly related phenomena. Let me tell you something: guys like the Klitschkos could never hack it in any other era. Because Tyson, Holyfield, Lewis, Louis, Ali all fought in the same era.
Oh! Oh!!! You had a different opinion of them, did you? Funny, I must have missed that in amongst all of your HBO/WBA/WBC sponsored uploads....:wack::wack:
That fat cracker thumb-breaker? Even in an AMERICAN era as weak as this, that guys time would be better spend down in Gramercy getting money out of the Skateboard kids.
:bs::bs::bs::bs::bs: Why? America is not the World. American scene can be as shit as it wants to be. America has no steel industry. Doesn't mean you cannot buy a good steel bar today.
LOL @ "Kevin Johnson and Arreola were not regarded as weak" yes, and Odlanier Solis was a Cuban amateur star that was considered the future savior of the HW division, he opened as a 500-1 gambling favorite against Vitali
No, America still sucks. Question: what is the explanation for the paucity of talent amongst the top 10 American welterweights?? Is that Basketball too? Is that Baseball too?? Is that football too??? In fact I might go one further; what is the explanation for the paucity of WELTERWEIGHTS amongst the top 10 American Welterweights, viz, Malignaggi, Ortiz etc. You people will talk yourselves in the river yet.
