Boxing used to be dominated by black fighters now they're all playing football as I hear from fellow posters. I'm just curious if you can list top 10 current Black fighters. Mind you not African American just Black in general from anywhere in the world.
Really? You planning on supporting that statement? I mean, you opened the thread with it, so you might as well.
Floyd David Haye Andre Berto Andre Ward Jean Paschal Chad Dawson Steve Cunningham Marcus Johnson James DeGale Tim Bradley
You can swap out James DeGale for Kevin Johnson if you want. Johnson is a legitimately skilled guy, doesn't get hit a lot, but DeGale probably has more promise and has a title very early in his career, a traditional, albeit fringe, title. Question of taste I suppose.
Hopkins lost to a whiteboy even though he said he never would lose to a whiteboy. Things like that can shake my confidence. Pascal lost to a whiteboy but it was in England so we know it was a robbery. Also, Hopkins is an old cheating motherfucker.
Some of those guys aren't black enough like Haye and Ward. They need to be almost as black as James Toney to count :kidcool:
There are Klitschkos at 168? Damn, you double-fucked now. Johnson fought for a title and negotiated the 12 round distance with Vitali. I reckon that makes him pretty handy, if only by black-standards ::
I did some thinking about Rigondeaux.....a 1 round blasting of Willy "Potato Picking" Casey impressed me, for the level it was at.
Mixed races should have thier own category, like Mexicans, a majority of which are mixed race. Ideally, I could take the advantage, and claim Haye, Ward, Degale,.. and all the meszito mexicans,.. and stuff them into a European and Arab list,.. Khan too... very empowering stuff. :bears:
Since it's now been established that Basques and Gallicians are brown people in the other thread,.. we aint white no more you scollup. :TLC:
