Probably "pound for pound" for me will be "The Burbs". It's probably the only movie I can watch anywhere, anytime. And easily the movie I've watched the most in my life. I probably have seen it over 200 times, easily.

    Raiders of the Lost Ark
    Ben Hur
    Star Wars
    Godfather
    Crimson Tide
    LOTR Trilogy

Good film. I'll get e-killed for this but my favourite of the franchise is actually Rocky IV

I won't argue with anyone who says that. I rank #1 first because without #1, there is no #4. 4 was awesome. Probably the most intense film watching experience I ever had as a kid.

My personal order of Rocky movies: 1,4,6,3,2,5

"Rocky III" is REED's Personal Favorite...It was THE Most Over-the-Top "Rocky" Flick...

The Opening, "Eye of the Tiger" Montage STILL AMPS REED Up to this Very Day...MORE Fight Footage than Any of the Others AND a CLASSIC Song Bolstering it...Mr. T's Inclusion, 2 World Title Fights, Micky's DEATH, Rocky & Apollo JOINING FORCES, Rocky Going to the HOOD & Adopting a "Black" Style, & Then of Course, Rocky WHIPPING Mr. T in the End...

    Hell, REED Completely FORGOT "Thunderlips"...

In Terms of Pure ENTERTAINMENT, "Rocky III" is the Best of the Series, in REED's Opinion...

I haven't watched 6 and probably never will. I refused to watch it out of principle: the principle being how CRAP # 5 was!!!

    My order is:

    4,1&3,2,5

I actually agree. 1,3 and 4 are interchangeable for me.

    1 had the best story
    3 had the best action
    4 had the best drama

The intensity of the cinematic drama of Rocky IV is what gives it the edge for me...but Rocky 3 was great for all the reasons you mentioned....especially the first 10 mins of the film...probably the best first 10 mins of ANY film in history.

6 is not as despicable as 5 but not really worth seeing either. Very slow-paced and rather pointless movie altogether.

1st is the only one that is actually good in artistic sense. 2nd tries that but it doesn't really bring anything new to the story. 3 and 4 are both real silly but I must agree that they are entertaining too and the training scenes, especially in 4, are pulse-raising

No we're talking! SWEET film. I actually preferred "For a Few Dollars More" actually.
