Yup. I agree with you here.

Both Tyson & Ruddock were faster, and sharper in the first fight.

Having a hard time remembering that fight (other than that it was a rare fight that aired on TNT). But was it really more boring than Baldomir, Castillo II or Famoso Hernandez?

It was a dull and ugly fight. The punchstats had Floyd landing all kinds of shots, but in reality he had a tough time landing consistently against Rios's awkward style.

You can take your pick between Rios, Baldomir, Castillo 2, Goyo Vargas. I just chose Rios, but they were all pretty bad. The Famoso fight was ugly and boring too, although I did like the early rounds before Floyd hurt his hands. There were some nice exchanges early on, of course Mayweather was doing most of the scoring.

I like the Juan Diaz fight better in terms of the overall action and the knockout ending but I can see why anyone would prefer the Marquez-Pac I. That first round and JMM comeback was pretty amazing.

for Arce, it would have to be his fight against that Argentinean guy he fought right before Mijares. I forget the guy's name, but he was on TV last year and was just as boring.

You're probably right on Marquez, although he had an unnecessary rematch with someone that was somewhat dull, at least by his standards.

The one I'm struggling on is Israel Vazquez.
