    The biggest problem with the first Fight Night was that it was way too easy. Playing the computer on the hardest setting, I could knock out Ali in 1-2 rounds using Erik Morales.

    Chopsticks had not even been invented by then!!! It was the old controller in '99......now everything is made in China...its not the same!! Its just not the fucking same!!!!

    Well, I went for it and bought FN champions because of some of the good reports I read about it on here, mainly from Sly.

    I am now more convinced than ever that boxing games fundamentally never change. Although I have only had about 5 fights so far and just got out of prison, it still feels like the others.

    All I do, as always? Is do the lean/sway counter trick, countering with power modifier hooks/uppercuts. I never seem to run out of stamina, and I eventually chop my opponent down.


    The graphics and gameplay is pretty good. I also like the storyline as well.

    Will it get any better? Kinda feels like a little "been there, done that".

    Fight Night Champion and its not even close...and Illuminati is being ignorant,Fight Night Champion is far superior than last years ,playing a demo doesn't mean shit.I agree with everybody Fight Night 3 is the worst out of the bunch,unrealistic like a mug.

    KO Kings 2001 for PSone was the only boxing game I truly enjoyed

    they should just replicate that with some updated fighters... same exact gameplay, just with today's graphics

    fuck haymakers, fuck parrying a guy and causing him to stand there like a drunk long enough for you to haymaker him... FUCK ALL OF THAT

    not really sold on the simplified punch control on FNC - the arcing motions for hooks and uppercuts felt more natural in previous versions.

    no doubt there's a bit of nostalgic bias but i still think the roster of boxers in KK 99 and 2000 was the most interesting with guys like norris, louis, holmes, marciano, dempsey...don't think some of them have been featured since

    Whitaker, Chavez, Arguello, Mancini, Camacho, Mayweather, Pryor, Manfredy, etc..etc..they don't have to be ALL TIME greats...just give us more boxers...


    Today's Fight Night have 4-5 division with only 6-7 fighter per division...and sometimes the same fighter are in different division.

    Have you played FNC? Much better gameplay than KO Kings 2001. You can throw every punch in the book now whenever you want,, unlike KOkings games.

    yup. Truthfully I haven't been able to dedicate much time to it (wish I could though)...but the task at hand is hard, man. 75 body shots without getting knocked out...against that animal?!!!! "He's a frigging animal!!! You saw what he did to Raymond"

    I haven't beaten Frost, but I only tried a couple of times and haven't had time to play since. I'm also playing on the GOAT setting.
