Pavlik by decision, perhaps on activity alone. Just seems like a typical Wink fight where he can get outworked and does just enough to result in a decision he gets to complain about afterwards.
It would be a fairly close fight, but I agree with Jake. Past prime or not, I think it's clear from his 160 fights that Winky is NOT a middleweight. He's one of those guys where his natural division is his perfect division and can't really go above it, like Hatton. I'd say Pavlik almost certainly wins actually, the prime pre-alcohol Pavlik :kidcool:
He might not have been a better fighter, but he was a better middleweight than Winky, that's for sure.
I think you're getting me confused with our resident Slystaff, bless him. My posts generally have no agenda at all. Believe me when I say Floyd couldn't have been further from my mind when I wrote that post, I just couldn't think of a better recent example of a guy that sucks above his natural division. I'm not even a Hatton fan btw. I semi liked him at one point, but his working class hero act got pretty tedious, as did his grappling style.
